We are seeking a Utility Hoe Hand in Muskogee, OK who will be responsible for operating and maintaining utility hoes (excavators) to assist with excavation, trenching, and site preparation for various construction projects. This position requires precision, safety awareness, and teamwork to ensure successful project completion.
Operate utility hoe/excavator for trenching and excavation tasks on utility projects
Assist with general construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, digging trenches, and operating hand and power tools
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Collaborate with site supervisors and other construction staff to ensure project success
Other duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience operating utility hoes or similar heavy equipment
Strong understanding of excavation and utility installation safety practices
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions
Basic math and measurement skills
Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
