ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports the System’s vision for hospice, care management, and rehabilitation services.
- Serves as a role model of servant leadership, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinates recruiting, developing, coaching, and retaining highly qualified and competent leaders to enhance the System’s ability for growth and succession planning.
- Ensures long term operational sustainability through monitoring healthcare trends, reimbursement models, regulatory changes and market demands.
- Actively promotes the implementation of, and compliance to, standardized business processes, tools, and resources.
- Develops, implements and enforces operational policies and procedures and performance standards that drive consistency and effectiveness.
- Ensures integration across services to improve patient transitions, care coordination, and outcomes across the continuum.
- Regularly reviews operational performance goals related to customer and associate satisfaction.
- Supports quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) programs, collaborating with clinical leaders to improve care delivery.
- Promotes the image and reputation of the System by exhibiting servant leadership and providing direct and open lines of communication.
- Contributes to the work of committees, workgroups, project management, and other collaborative efforts of the System.
- Performs other operational duties as necessary to assure the success of the System.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to understand the System’s strategy and translate objectives into action plans.
- Thorough knowledge of principles and practices of hospice, care management and rehabilitation operations.
- Extensive knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations governing patient care and treatment and related services or activities.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present information in a clear and concise manner, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Executive Vice Presidents and their leadership teams, patients and families, and the public.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in senior healthcare services.
