The part-time Accommodations Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support daily operations in the Student Resource Center for ADA Services. Their duties may include greeting office visitors, scheduling appointments, proctoring tests, reading or scribing for students during a test, enlarging textbooks, working with and teaching others various types of assistive technology. Reports to the Director, Student Resource Center for ADA Services.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma/GED and experience with MS Office. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong technical skills and experience with a variety of diverse populations including people with disabilities.
Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.
Hourly Rate: $14.00 (20 hours per week)
