What will you be doing

As our Senior Data Architect, you will be responsible for building the technical backbone of the Patient Hub. This includes the strategic design of data models, integrations, governance protocols, and real-time data services that ensure the platform is resilient, extensible, and fully aligned with healthcare data standards and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining and leading the overall data architecture of the Patient Hub with scalability, interoperability, and performance at the core.
  • Developing secure, cloud-based data storage and management solutions supporting real-time decisions and historical analysis.
  • Architecting and optimizing data flows from patient enrollment portals, CRM systems, case management platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Partnering with engineering, CRM, compliance, UX, and data science teams to deliver an integrated and future-proof platform.
  • Creating frameworks for metadata management, lineage tracking, data cataloguing, and business glossary alignment.
  • Implementing standards for data ingestion, API design, and internal interoperability to support modular platform growth.
  • Leading the selection and implementation of ETL/ELT tooling, data pipelines, and monitoring systems.
  • Establishing security, privacy, and governance foundations within global regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

What do you need

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise or solution data architecture, ideally within patient-facing, regulated, or pharma environments.
  • Proven expertise building cloud-based data systems (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Strong background in data modeling, MDM, interoperability standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7), and analytics tooling.
  • Familiarity with patient data structures including EHR, CRM (Salesforce/Veeva), consented interactions, and support workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to design frameworks that balance governance, security, performance, and innovation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate architectural decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
