Key Responsibilities:

1. Partnership Servicing 

  • Communicate effectively with MGA partners to address questions, resolve issues, process changes and monitor monthly business flows
  • Assist underwriting on processing raters, quotes and binders to ensure that all business is accurately reflected
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (underwriting, actuarial, compliance, and product teams) to iterate existing programs as needed to ensure profitability and competitiveness.

2. Reporting & Communication

  • Assist in preparation of reports on program performance and partnership development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field (CPCU or other insurance designations preferred).
  • 1+ years of experience in P&C insurance. A focus on program business, MGA relationships, or underwriting management is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a talent for building trust and rapport with partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance management systems.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Starr Insurance Companies is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets: experience and training: licensure and certifications: and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000 - $90,000.
