As a Data Engineering Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience working with large-scale data platforms that power insights across our family of brands. This role is designed for students who love solving problems with data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and making an impact through technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines that support analytics and business intelligence across Inspire Brands.

• Work with modern tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, Spark, Databricks, AWS/Azure) to clean, transform, and structure data for analysis.

• Partner with analysts and engineers to understand requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.

• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and insights that inform business decisions and improve data models.

• Contributing to AI proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives, such as agent development work and prototyping lightweight orchestration, evaluating feasibility, and preparing datasets for experimentation.

• Support quality assurance by validating data accuracy, troubleshooting issues, and documenting processes.

• Contribute to team projects that enhance Inspire’s data infrastructure and enable better decision-making.

• Take part in mentorship sessions, professional development workshops, and networking events hosted by Inspire’s Early Careers team

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred).

• Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, or cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
