About the Position
Griffin Memorial Hospital and the Children’s Recovery Center are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead and manage activities related to construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair of facilities, grounds, and equipment.

This position provides leadership to construction and maintenance technicians, licensed trade specialists, and others responsible for both new construction/renovation projects and ongoing facility upkeep.

Key Responsibilities
Duties will vary by assignment level and may include:

• Inspecting buildings, premises, and equipment to identify maintenance, construction, or renovation needs.
• Estimating project costs for labor and materials.
• Overseeing work in progress and verifying code compliance upon completion.
• Reviewing project bids and preparing specifications for standard and specialized equipment, supplies, and vehicles.

Job Type & Salary

• Job Type: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 40-hours per week
• Annual Salary: $49,750/yr - $23.92/hr
• FLSA Status: Exempt
• On-Call Rotation: Required; compensated at $1.00 per hour during on-call status

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Six (6) years of experience in skilled building trade or maintenance work involving construction, alteration, or repair of buildings, grounds, or utilities, including at least three (3) years in a supervisory role.
• OR, an equivalent combination of education and experience, with one (1) year of college or technical school training in building or construction trades substituting for each year of non-supervisory experience.

Special Requirements:

• Requires possession of a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
• Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.

About us:
​​​​​​​ Griffin Memorial Hospital (GMH), located in Norman, Oklahoma, is the adult treatment center for the ODMHSAS and serves all 77 counties. GMH offers community crisis stabilization and residential treatment for individuals experiencing substance use, co-occurring mental health issues, and trauma-related conditions.
