Compensation

This position pays $12.00 per hour.

Job Description

Basic Purpose  

Under general direction of the Park Manager, the Park Attendant/Parking Enforcement uses the reservation/parking enforcement system to verify license plates, helps guests out in the park with reservations, performs minor maintenance or custodial duty and provides information about park facilities. 

 

Typical Functions  

  • Assists visitors by explaining park regulations and rules.  

  • Assists guests with campsite reservations and securing parking fees. 

  • Responsible for monitoring/verifying license plates in the enforcement app in the day use areas as well as additional vehicles at the camping sites to make sure parking fees are paid. 

  • Applies violations according to policy and procedure when needed. 

  • Provide park information to guests. 

  • Performs minor maintenance and custodial duties.  

  • Other duties as assigned.  

 

Minimum Qualifications  

  • Must be at least 16 years of age. 

  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License. 

  • Must be comfortable working with smart phones/technology. 

  • Must possess customer service skills and ability to communicate with a variety of people. 

  

Special Requirements  

  • Scheduled hours will require flexibility, including holidays, weekends, or events, based on the needs of the agency.  

  • All candidates tentatively selected for this position will be subject to a background check.
