Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities

• Administer general, regional and monitored anesthesia and analgesia care for scheduled (non-emergent) pediatric orthopedic procedures and imaging at the discretion of and under the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist

• Evaluate patients preoperatively and, in consultation with the attending anesthesiologist, formulate and carry out a full anesthesia care plan

• Safely transport patients to and from an anesthetizing location and ensure appropriate care during the postoperative period

• Be an effective team member and interact with staff and patients in a way that shows respect and consideration for the individual and those around you

Required Skills/Abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience

• Comfortable practicing independently as well as a shared resource for attending anesthesiologists

• Regional anesthesia experience preferred but not necessary 

• ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NBCRNA certification

• Current CRNA License
