Creation Technologies is seeking a driven and customer-focused AR Specialist to join our high-performing team! Based out of our either our Dallas, TX, Everett, WA or Boise, ID locations, this opportunity supports our global operations and plays a critical role in managing customer accounts, minimizing financial risk, and maximizing collections—while maintaining exceptional service. This is a hybrid role requiring you to be up to 3 days/week in-office.

The Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist is a key member of the Finance team, responsible for overseeing complex customer accounts, resolving escalated issues, and ensuring timely collections in support of the company’s financial objectives. This role blends deep transactional expertise with analytical insight and cross-functional collaboration. The Senior AR Specialist acts as a mentor to junior staff, identifies opportunities for process improvement, and supports system enhancements and audit readiness. This role is critical in safeguarding revenue, enhancing customer relationships, and improving working capital performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Full cycle AR management, oversee complex and high-volume customer accounts with a focus on accuracy, timeliness and compliance
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for AR inquiries, disputes, and account reconciliations
  • Lead efforts to reduce aged receivables and improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) & cash flow through proactive collections
  • Partner with internal and external customers to resolve issues, negotiate payment plans, and address rot causes of recurring problems
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities by reconciling AR accounts and preparing journal entries
  • Provide audit support and documentation for internal and external reviews
  • Mentor and train junior AR staff, and foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture
  • Analyze AR metrics to identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance AR efficiency and accuracy
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
     

What You Bring

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable, including full-cycle AR processing.
  • Experience in a shared services or high-volume AR environment preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills; Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word.
  • Expert-level understanding of AR practices, collections processes, and financial controls
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret data to drive action
  • Intermediate experience in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills, including negotiation and customer engagement
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proven ability to lead peer training and share process knowledge
  • High school diploma required

In accordance with pay transparency regulations, the anticipated starting salary for this position ranges from $60k-$70k USD annually. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and a range of benefits. Please note that this salary range is not guaranteed, and the final offer may vary based on experience, education, location, and shift. Additionally, the benefits and programs available may differ depending on the hire date, schedule type, and hours worked.
