The Barista creates a warm, welcoming, and engaging experience for all customers while expertly preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, specialty coffees, teas, and light food items. This role is responsible for accurately taking orders, processing payments through multiple methods, and ensuring all equipment is operating safely and efficiently. The Barista helps monitor and maintain inventory levels, restocking items as needed, and keeps all preparation, serving, and common areas clean and sanitary. Adhering to all health and safety guidelines, the Barista contributes to a positive, efficient, and customer-focused environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate in a team environment
Maintain health code standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and storage.
Keeps the food service area organized and clean, both the front and back of house.
Assistance with basic prep
Manage check out process and oversee cash register
Assist in maintaining clean and organized food preparation, service and storage areas
Restock all food lines, paper products and grab and go areas
Provide campers and guests that have food allergies with the utmost service
Complete opening and closing tasks for front and back of house
Cleaning the serving areas, kitchen, dishes and taking out the garbage
Ensure that all dishwashing areas are clean, organized and maintained throughout the day
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
Must be 16 years of age or older
Valid Workers permit required for minors
Employment in this position is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-hire background checks, including criminal history clearance through the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH), child abuse clearance through the Department of Public Welfare, Motor Vehicle Record if required by position and federal background screening via FBI fingerprinting
PRE-REQUISITES
Must have or be able to obtain the following prior to starting work:
Woodward will supply information to assist you in obtaining these if needed.
Mandated Reporter Training Certificate
Safesport Training Certificate
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.
Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment.
Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines.
Primary on-site work location: Woodward, PA
