This position is responsible for coordinating Process Improvement initiatives across the manufacturing plant by utilizing the Management Operating System (MOS) model.  The role will take responsibility for coaching, training, communications, base lining, identifying and transferring best practice internally and externally.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

How you will make contributions that matter...

  • Design, drive and perform operational analysis of processes;
  • Partner with process owners to identify and leverage best practices to achieve maximum results to eliminate waste/cost of poor performance and deliver sustainable and repeatable change;
  • Track, Measure and Report OEE trend data;
  • Coach and champion functions to identify and implement opportunities to improve program and process effectiveness;
  • Champion and facilitate efficiency and waste minimization projects and initiatives;
  • Plan, develop and coordinate training in Process Improvement methodology;
  • Provide CI/technical direction/guidance/training to team members;
  • Share best practices within the facility and other locations;
  • Adhere to the Saputo Code of Ethics and actively apply the Saputo Values;
  • Work together professionally in a team environment with coworkers and other department personnel;
  • Support other departments as needed and perform other duties as required by management.

You are best suited for this role if you....

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Lean Manufacturing, Operations Management or similar concentration or 3- years plant manufacturing or process improvement experience with a certification in Lean Management Principals or combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible to changing needs of the facility to include support on all shifts.
  • Advanced PC skills to include proficiency in MS applications, ability to create advanced spreadsheets.
  • Self-motivated and driven to see projects through to completion.
  • Excellent recordkeeping and documentation skills.
  • Ability to multi task and prioritize the needs of the facility.
  • Function as facility Process Improvement champion regarding tasks, projects and operations.
  • Ability to work independently.

Salary range: $70,050 - $91,950

Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training
