Adjunct Faculty will teach courses within the Department of Kinesiology's content areas, including Exercise Science, Health Science, Health & Physical Education, and/or Sport Management and Leadership.
Duties/Responsibilities
Teach specialized courses within majors of the Kinesiology Department.
Requirements
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
A minimum of a Master’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Health Science, Health & Physical Education, Sport Management & Leadership or a closely related field from a recognized college or university, and at least one year of teaching experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication and presentation skills are required; the ability to establish a rapport with students and maintain an environment that supports learning is required.
Must have evidence of responsiveness to and understanding the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of students at the University of New Hampshire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Health Science, Health & Physical Education, and/or Sport Management & Leadership, teaching experience and 5+ years actively working in the field.
Compensation Pay Range:
$3,100 for 1-2 credits
$6,100 for 3-4 credits
