This position is an integral part of the leadership team for Boreal Ridge Corporation and plays a key role in the development and daily operation of the Retail Services department at Boreal Mountain Resort. The Retail Services Supervisor oversees all retail locations and team members, ensuring smooth operations, strong merchandising standards, and an exceptional guest experience. This role works closely with the Senior Manager of Retail to support hiring, training, and team development while executing on revenue goals aligned with the company’s strategic plan.

The Retail Services Supervisor is responsible for maintaining efficient day-to-day operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and guest service, while ensuring the department operates effectively seven days a week. All employees are expected to represent the Boreal brand with professionalism and uphold the highest standards of service.

Essential Functions & Major Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily retail operations across all locations
  • Assist in hiring, training, and developing retail team members
  • Ensure high standards of guest service and team performance
  • Manage inventory including receiving, organizing, and restocking merchandise
  • Maintain clean, organized, and well-merchandised retail spaces
  • Support execution of departmental goals and revenue plans
  • Assist guests with purchases, product knowledge, and general inquiries
  • Ensure accurate cash handling and point-of-sale operations
  • Communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office environment
  • Strong guest service mindset and outgoing personality
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
  • A strong sense of safe practices and ethical behavior
