We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Patient Care Services to join us in this mission.
Job Summary
The Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS) provides leadership and oversight for all hospice and home health clinical services. This RN leader ensures high‑quality, compliant, patient‑centered care while supporting clinical teams, driving quality outcomes, and promoting organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all clinical hospice services and staff
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and Medicare hospice regulations
Direct development and oversight of individualized plans of care
Supervise, hire, evaluate, and mentor Clinical Managers, Supervisors, and clinicians
Support staffing, budgeting, and operational planning
Oversee clinical documentation, quality improvement (QAPI), and patient safety
Develop orientation, in‑service, and continuing education programs
Promote hospice referrals and collaboration within the healthcare community
Serve as Acting Executive Director when needed
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) with active state license
3+ years management experience in hospice or home health
Strong knowledge of hospice regulations and compliance
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
Compensation: $130K - $150K annually
