The Joan and James Leitzel Center for Mathematics, Science, and Engineering Education seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate to assist with grant-sponsored activities including data analysis, project development, reporting and manuscript generation.
Duties/Responsibilities
(80%)
Carry out grant-sponsored activities including data analysis, reporting and manuscript generation
(20%)
Support research operations with geochemical analyses and instrumentation, data analysis, manuscript preparation and submission.
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
Ph.D. degree, with at least 3 years of experience during degree program with modeling, data analysis, instrumentation and technical writing.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
The successful candidate will be experienced with geochemical instrumentation, modeling geochemical and Earth System processes, data analysis and preparation of materials for reporting and publication.
The successful candidate will also have the ability to work across multiple projects, often with competing deadlines, and collaborate with team to complete tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. required and 5+ years experience with modeling, geochemical measurements and manuscript preparation.

Compensation Pay Range:
$50,000 - $65,000
The rank of the selected candidate will depend upon the candidate’s qualifications.
