FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: 8 hour shifts
Position Summary
The Involuntary Treatment (IT) Court Facilitator works in collaboration with physicians and nursing staff to perform clinical assessments and evaluations of patients admitted on a civil commitment system-wide for involuntary detention to a psychiatric facility. The IT Court Facilitator provides testimony and writes petitions recommending Restrictive Treatment for patients admitted on: initial detention orders and revocations of restrictive orders in compliance with the King County Superior Court rules.Requirements
Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or Nursing required
WA State Psychologist License
A Mental Health Professional as defined within HB 1724 one of these higher credentials are held: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), SW Independent Clinical Lic (LICSW)
Minimum five (5) years recent experience working with acutely ill psychiatric patients specifically involving evaluation of psychiatric safety, level of function, psychiatric diagnoses and medications
Minimum three (3) years recent experience working in a hospital setting
Driver License/Abstract
BLS - Basic Life Support (includes RQI) - American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Pay and Benefit Expectations

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $93,954.00 - $135,221.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
