Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Sourcing:
- Identify, attract, and recruit qualified physicians, NPPAs, and other healthcare professionals for a variety of positions including nurses, doctors, medical support staff, and administrative personnel.
- Use various sourcing methods such as job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and healthcare-specific recruitment platforms.
- Develop a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet the organization's hiring needs.
- Screening & Interviewing:
- Review resumes and applications, conduct phone screenings, and assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and fit for specific healthcare roles.
- Schedule and conduct interviews, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the process.
- Perform preliminary skills assessments, background checks, and licensure verification to ensure candidates meet all required qualifications and compliance standards.
- Collaboration with Clinical Leadership:
- Work closely with medical directors, region medical directors, and other healthcare leadership to understand staffing needs and specific role requirements.
- Provide guidance and support in crafting accurate and compelling job descriptions and role specifications.
- Candidate Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with candidates, including passive candidates, to ensure a steady flow of qualified talent.
- Maintain communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive and engaging experience.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure all recruitment activities adhere to regulatory requirements, healthcare industry standards, and organizational policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities, including interview notes, candidate assessments, and hiring decisions.
- Market Research & Industry Trends:
- Stay informed about healthcare industry trends, compensation standards, and recruitment best practices.
- Continuously research and implement new sourcing strategies to improve recruitment efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in clinical recruitment or recruitment in a related industry (minimum 2-3 years).
- Strong knowledge of healthcare roles and industry-specific qualifications (e.g., licenses, certifications).
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in using recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with recruitment marketing strategies, social media platforms, and job boards.
- Previous experience in recruiting for various healthcare disciplines (e.g., nursing, medical assistants, physicians).
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage candidate expectations.
