Under the general direction of the Director of Gift & Data Management the incumbent will perform high volume, advanced data entry tasks to update and accurately maintain biographic and demographic information in the Advancement database. This includes, but is not limited to names, addresses, relationships, academia, employment, giving history and committees.· · In addition, the staff member will assist the Assistant Director of Gift Management with gift processing tasks involving preparing donations for accurate and efficient posting.· · Miscellaneous duties will consist of filing, coding, and manual input of data. Training of staff and students and various tasks may be assigned.
Job Duties:
Perform biographic maintenance, updates and additions of constituent data within the Advancement database received from a variety of sources.
Follow established procedures and standards related but not limited to data received via direct mailings, campus departments, online alumni community, staff, emails and donations.
Proper use of online resources, historical data and proactively conferring with colleagues to research and find current information for constituents.
Gift and pledge preparation and posting of all donations made to the University.
Review, analysis, and reconciliation of information received from a variety of sources.
Determination of appropriate designations, appeals and donor credit for each gift or pledge to be processed.
Verifying information against what is in the database and making appropriate additions or adjustments accordingly.
Follow set standards and processes for biographic maintenance and gift processing.
Consistent accuracy rate of 98% or higher for gift and biographic attributes.
Run scheduled reports.
Prepare reports for manual data input and circulate to appropriate staff as needed.
Train and monitor student workers with biographic and gift related tasks.
Ensure that department standards and procedures are being followed.
Assist with related department duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree and three years of computer related experience, or a combination of education and experience equal to five years.
The successful candidate will have proven, proficient experience:
With the administering of data entry at a high volume including resolution of complex, detailed requests
Processing donation transactions with efficiency, a high-level of accuracy and the ability to reconcile
Efficiently and effectively meeting deadlines
Using Microsoft Office Tools: Excel; Word; Outlook
Exhibiting good judgment, discretion and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Experience working with Blackbaud CRM, Raiser’s Edge or Workday
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor, co-workers and University staff
Organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
Skilled written and verbal communication
Capability to work individually and as part of a team
Capacity to quickly and independently learn UNH and Advancement-specific policies, procedures, and terminology
University Advancement has implemented a Hybrid/Remote Workplace. This is a hybrid position with the expectation that the employee resides within reasonable distance to the Durham, NH campus (under three hours) and is available to come to campus depending on the business needs of the team.

Compensation Pay Range:
