Job Overview
The Revenue Cycle Management Specialist II plays a critical role in supporting and optimizing all aspects of the Revenue Cycle through advanced analytical expertise, accounts receivable management, and strategic problem-solving. This role takes ownership of monitoring and improving billing and collections performance by analyzing complex KPIs (denials rate, collection rate, days in A/R, etc.) and leading initiatives to enhance revenue capture and operational efficiency. The Specialist II provides advanced functional support, including payment posting, system configuration, cross-departmental project coordination, and mentoring of junior staff, as well as other ad-hoc support related to the Revenue Cycle.
Minimum Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent required; trade or Technical School certification preferred; an associate's degree or higher is a plus.
Minimum of 3-4 years of billing, collection, and revenue cycle experience in healthcare required.
Proven experience with EPIC and Practice Management system configuration.
Advanced proficiency in data analytics, including Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
Experience leading or coordinating revenue cycle projects or process improvement initiatives.
Compensation
