The UNH Manchester College of Professional Studies invites applications for adjunct faculty positions to teach undergraduate Electrical Engineering Technology courses and labs beginning the fall semester. Courses include AC/DC circuit analysis, microprocessor technology, analog circuits, digital circuits and electronic devices. These are 16-week, on-campus offerings.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • 3-hour weekly lectures, class meets in person for two 1½ hour sessions per week; and 2-hour weekly laboratory sessions. (50%)

  • Maintain course materials through the Learning Management System (LMS). (30%)

  • Proctor exams, grade homework and laboratory reports in a timely manner. (20%)

Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:

  • Minimum requirements include a master’s degree in electrical engineering or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution and previous college teaching experience preferred.

  • All faculty positions have as their primary objective to create a dynamic teaching/learning environment for our students. 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical engineering including current developments and technologies in the field of electrical engineering, or a closely related field is a requirement.

  • Ability to teach and mentor students in a laboratory setting is a must.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.

Compensation Pay Range:

$4000 - $5500 per 4 credit course based on qualifications
