Senior Account Managers are primarily responsible for servicing clients/prospects for commercial customers of Cross Insurance, while creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, underwriters and other professionals. 

Duties of a Senior Account Manager  include, but are not limited to:

  • Follow Large Commercial Timeline, adhere to Cross Procedure Manual and Master CL Workflow Manual
  • Handles Large Complex Accounts (Book of Business up to $1,000,000 or more in revenue
  • Meet with Producer/AE monthly to review marketing instructions.
  • Visit clients as necessary
  • Assist in soliciting increases in coverage (round out accounts)
  • Has technical knowledge of insurance coverages & products to advise clients
  • Understand the daily business operations and exposures of our customers
  • Collect applications and underwriting information from Producer/AE and/or Client and Prospects as necessary to market new and renewal policies
  • Prepare Annual Review Kits and Proposals
  • Prepare Renewal and New business submissions and proposals
  • Follow-up with underwriters for the timely receipt of quotes 
  • Respond to requests from underwriters.
  • Invoice for prompt payment of agency bill invoices
  • Create new policy issuance instructions, quote instructions and renewal instructions for insurance company.
  • Produce initial binders for Renewal and New Accounts
  • Provide clear concise instructions for processing new and renewal policies
  • Add Master COIs & EPIs on Renewal and New Business
  • Respond to customer inquiries including coverage questions, requests for documentation with or without  direction of the Producer/AE
  • Facilitate audit disputes

*Salary Range* $90,000-$125,000
