Perform thorough patient assessments including histories and physical examinations
Provide pre- and post-procedural or surgical care across various settings
Monitor and manage patients in procedural areas and recovery units as needed
Order, interpret, and act upon appropriate diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, imaging, EKGs)
Collaborate with physicians and other providers to develop and implement individualized care plans
Serve as a point of contact for patients, families, and caregivers, ensuring education and coordination throughout the continuum of care
Document clinical findings and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support patient care protocols
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Current licensure as a PA in the state of employment
National certification by an approved credentialing body (e.g., NCCPA)
BLS and ACLS certification required
Clinical experience in acute or procedural care settings preferred
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work in fast-paced hospital and outpatient environments
May include evening, weekend, holiday, or on-call responsibilities depending on clinical needs
Exposure to high-acuity patient populations and critical care scenarios
Pay Range:
$147,180.80 USD - $200,158.40 USDThe pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
