About the Job:

The Medical Assistant is responsible for participating in the provision of professional nursing care to patients under the supervision of Registered Nurses, Providers, and the Practice Manager.

What You’ll Do:

• Participate in patient care in-person, via phone screening, and telehealth under provider supervision.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, immunizations, and perform point-of-care testing.
• Collect and screen patient history and health-related information, and communicate findings to providers.
• Relay provider instructions and care plans to patients.
• Accurately document procedures, interventions, communications, and test results in the medical record.

Who You Are:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or 3 years of equivalent experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• One year of experience in a medical practice or healthcare setting preferred.
