Contributes to the Hospital’s mission by performing cardiac ultrasound testing procedures for physician review and interpretation. Under general supervision of the department manager, the lead sonographer will ensure that echocardiographic testing procedures are performed according to clinic and departmental policies and standards. In the lead role, in collaboration with the department manager, this position supports staff, oversees daily operations, staff schedules, and troubleshoots issues to maximize the department’s efficiency and accuracy.
The lead develops and promotes collaborative relationships with department team members, patient care teams, and referring teams. The lead role will promote patient satisfaction, providing quality images and the best possible experience for our patient.

Education/Experience Required:
Associate degree and/or graduate of an accredited echocardiography program or relevant clinical experience resulting in registry

This job requires frequent bending, carrying, pulling, pushing, reaching, standing, stooping, walking and lifting over 10 lbs. There will be occasional need for climbing stairs, lifting in excess of 50 – 100 lbs and sitting. Constant use of hearing, sight and speech. Frequent use of smell and touch. Frequent keyboard and telephone use. Constant concentration and problem solving.
Pay Range:
$41.53 - $68.35This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
