Operations Intern
Generac’s Intern position is responsible to work in a team environment to accomplish project-based work in the operations group. Under supervision of the production manager, the intern will create project plans and execute in a cross functional environment. You will also contribute to safety, quality, and operational performance by joining existing teams and other tasks as assigned. Participants develop technical skills through challenging assignments and leadership development through collaborative teamwork.
This position is for our Summer 2026 Intern Program and has a start date of May 2026. The role is based onsite at our Waukesha office.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
