Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Set priorities, monitor engineering work and provide oversight of assigned IT Shared Infrastructure teams.
Lead architects and engineers in a project based delivery environment to design, test and deploy infrastructure components in assigned Shared Infrastructure team.
Provide leadership for projects from Capital Projects to departmental projects that support WashU IT. Collaborate with technical and IT leaders to meet project requirements.
Serve as the lead team member ensuring the high availability of the Shared Infrastructure and support problem resolution, post mortem and resolution of issues.
Lead teams providing strategic planning for the assigned SI area, in coordination with Enterprise Architecture.
Coordinate staff development, recruiting and resolution of personnel issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
