Senior Modern Workplace Engineer
About the role
The Workplace Technology team provides the technology and tools to enable Boldyn colleagues globally to work seamlessly through delivery of an exceptional Digital Employee Experience. This role is the Senior Modern Workplace SME for Boldyn’s Microsoft 365 and Endpoint Management technology stack, covering design, configuration and operation of all identity, collaboration, endpoint, device and software lifecycles services. The successful candidate will ensure we make the best use of our Microsoft licenced products and other workplace technologies, with compliance to security and hardening standards, whilst delivering the best employee experience. Support of existing functionality will be required, as well as bringing innovation with smarter and faster ways of working through digital workflows and automation, with great ideas to push the boundaries of the platform.
What you’ll be doing
The role is responsible for driving the adoption and development of Boldyn’s Workplace Technology platform, enabling colleagues globally to work effortlessly, with the right tools and technology. The Senior Modern Workplace Engineer will cover M365, and AAD administration, and implementation of security solutions such as identity, password management, and single sign-on. Automated provisioning of new devices is key, with seamless installation of software and security updates, design, and implementation of policies to ensure endpoint security.
Over the next 12-18 months, you will focus on the design, deployment, maintenance and the implementation of Boldyn’s Modern Workplace solutions using Microsoft Azure AD, M365 and associated technologies as well as assist the Principal Modern Workplace Engineer in ensuring conformance to established architecture, standards, trends and best practice.
Day-to-Day you will also provide BAU / L3 operational support, utilising Boldyn’s Service Desk ticketing system, utilise Intune’s cloud-based functionality for device and application management and act as the “go to” person to solve more complex problems, incidents and requests leveraging your technical knowledge across the areas of Intune, Autopilot, M365 and Azure AD.
