About the Role
How will you make an impact & Requirements
Primary Responsibilities
Assist clinicians with patient examinations and treatments under physician direction.
Provide front and/or back office clinical support in accordance with Care Center or Medical Group Practice protocols.
Greet patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner and facilitate a positive patient experience.
Manage patient check-in by ensuring charts are prepared, medical records are available, patient information is current, and required paperwork is complete.
Interview patients, obtain and document vital signs, and record the reason for visit.
Explain procedures, perform treatments, and administer prescribed medications as directed.
Support patient check-out by scheduling follow-up appointments, collecting co-payments when applicable, and ensuring documentation is complete.
Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
Reconcile co-payments at the end of each day in accordance with clinic procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of two (2) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Current and valid Medical Assistant certificate / certification from an accredited training program required.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills may be required, depending on location or patient population.
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.
Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is required.
