Master Electronics is seeking a passionate and proactive System Administrator to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you’ll support our growing infrastructure and play a key role in driving innovation across exciting, technology-forward projects. You’ll ensure optimal system performance, reliability, and security while collaborating with teams that value curiosity, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000 / Annually

What you will do?

  • Oversee Windows Server infrastructure, ensuring stability, optimization, and security of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core services
  • Manage and maintain Linux servers, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and security hardening
  • Monitor system performance, conduct audits, and apply updates/patches to keep environments secure and efficient
  • Design, implement, and regularly test backup and disaster recovery strategies across on-premises and cloud platforms using tools such as Veeam and cloud-native solutions
  • Collaborate with the Cloud Operations team to provision and manage AWS resources (EC2, S3, RDS, VPCs) while enforcing security and access controls
  • Administer and secure identity and access management through on-premises Active Directory and Entra/O365 services
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.) to streamline routine tasks and system provisioning
  • Enhance operational efficiency by leading automation workflows with tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, working closely with Cloud and DevOps teams

 

What you bring to the table!

  • Minimum of 6+ years as a System Administrator with proven expertise in:

    • Linux and Windows Server administration

    • Backup and disaster recovery (Veeam, cloud-native solutions, etc.)

    • Virtualization (VMware) and cloud infrastructure (AWS)

    • Scripting and automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible, etc.)
