Job Overview 

The MX Carrier Sales Rep I is responsible for providing coverage and solutions to freight moving within the Mexico conference. This is done through building and maintaining relationships to establish individual portfolios with asset-based Mexico and cross-border carriers to uphold capacity demands and maintain required levels of service. Rep averages 0-99 Mexico loads sold per month. 

 

Essential Functions  

  • Load Coverage: Provide capacity solutions to available loads and projects within the Mexico market and ensure assigned loads are on track.  

  • Lead Generation: Research and identify potential carriers within the Mexico market to continuously increase capacity and solutions.  

  • Carrier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand areas of opportunity to utilize available capacity 

  • Negotiation & Closing: Maximize profitability by generating cost effective and efficient solutions through your carrier portfolio to utilize across Coyote’s customer network.  

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by communicating proper load expectations, providing timely updates to load statuses, and promptly responding to incidents and concerns.  

  • Communication: Effectively communicate with internal and external contacts in a professional and timely manner.  

  • Documentation: Manage necessary shipping and logistics documentation, such as the Complemento Carta Porte and customs paperwork.
