Radiology Aide
Shift differential for qualifying shifts (PM shift 15% of base pay, up to $4.50 per hour / Night shift 20% of base pay, up to $6.00/hour)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent; one to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE
Approved CPR or BLS certification within 90 days.

SKILLS AND ABILITIESKnowledge of infection control, hand washing, barrier devices.Demonstrate use of patient transport and lifting equipment, 02 equipment, infusion pumps, foley catheters, IV and all fluid lines, chest tubes and wound vacs.Special need patient transport such as seizure watch and pediatrics.Insure that patient transport equipment is maintained.Assists technologists with setting up exams and patient positioning.LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.COMPUTER SKILLSTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software: Payroll systems and Word Processing software.SPECIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
