The Head of SRU Accounts Team / PRD leads the SRU onboarding and Principal Review onboarding delivery function, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant setup of new client accounts and related account structures across the Morgan Stanley and E*TRADE platforms. This role is accountable for day-to-day execution, service delivery, team leadership and culture, stakeholder partnership, capacity planning, and continuous improvement across people, process, and technology—while maintaining strong risk awareness and adherence to required controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end SRU Accounts + PRD execution: Direct daily workflow, prioritization, and escalations to deliver timely, accurate onboarding and principal reviews across Morgan Stanley and E*TRADE.
  • Own performance outcomes: Drive Production and Quality scorecard results; manage operating KPIs (SLA, Utilization, Branch Lift) and ensure scorecards and reporting reflect true performance and accountability.
  • Develop leaders and culture: Lead 3 Accounts Team Managers and 1 PRD Manager; set clear expectations, coach to performance, and build a strong, accountable team culture for ~80 Specialists through the management team.
  • Partner to improve outcomes: Represent the Accounts/PRD voice with Branch/Field, Compliance/Financial Crime, Risk/Quality, Operations, and Technology to remove friction, reduce rework, and ensure successful adoption of changes and drive AI solutions across business.

Required Qualifications

  • Licensing: FINRA Series 7 and 66, or Series 7 plus Series 63 and 65; and Series 9/10 or Series 4 and 24.
  • Significant experience in client onboarding/new accounts and/or principal review operations within financial services.
  • Demonstrated success leading managers, driving measurable performance outcomes, and operating effectively under time pressure with high accuracy.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across field/branch partners, Compliance/Financial Crime, Risk/Quality, Operations, and Technology.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate operational data into clear priorities, actions, and results.
