Bethel Park Animal Clinic has an opportunity for a Full-Time Certified Veterinary Technician!
Join our fun and collaborative team where we provide compassionate care to our clients and their dogs, cats and exotics! We are looking for a customer-oriented veterinary assistant/non-credentialed technician. We are looking for a positive person who is genuinely excited to help customers. They need to be a patient, empathetic, passionate, team player, who can put themselves in their customers’ shoes and advocate for them when necessary.

Shift Details: Mental health is a top priority at Bethel Park Animal Hospital. We offer a flexible schedule to support work-life balance, with rotating Saturday shifts.
*Early, middle of the day and evening shifts available*
Monday 7:00am - 6:00 pm
Tuesday 7:00am - 8:00 pm
Wednesday 7:00am - 8:00 pm
Thursday 7:00am - 8:00 pm
Friday 7:00am - 6:00 pm
Saturday 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
Compensation:
Our compensation package consists of a starting wage of $20-$25/hr with annual bonus opportunities. Our philosophy is that happy employee's lead to happy patients and clients.
Established in 2011, our fast paced veterinary hospital is just south of Pittsburgh, PA. We currently offer services to dogs, cats and exotics.
We expect our technicians to set the flow and lead the staff through the shift while having fun at work.

They must also be able to maintain cooperative and positive relationships with coworkers and doctors as teamwork is of highest priority. Our technician’s main duty is to be the primary medical support for our veterinarians.

The Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) supports the operation of an animal hospital by providing medical care to patients in accordance with veterinary practice regulations. The LVT guides and trains medical support staff, ensures smooth workflow during shifts, and communicates effectively with team members and clients.
Note: The Licensed Veterinary Technician title is used in the following states based on state-specific licensing and credentialing requirements: Alaska, Georgia, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Kentucky. Responsibilities may vary depending on the hospital and/or state. Responsibilities will be outlined by the state’s Veterinary Practice Act and/or the responsible veterinarian, where applicable
