Pay Range: $41 - $50 Per Hour

*Differential offered *

The company will provide a 12% shift differential.

Schedule: Hybrid Role: Remote monitoring and on call direct patient care in outpatient setting.

• Shift A: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
• Shift B: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Training:

• Candidates must be available to complete a mandatory 12-week comprehensive training program, which will be conducted exclusively during day shift hours.

SCOPE: Under general supervision, provides professional nursing care for patients adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. Demonstrates knowledge of physiological, psychological, and developmental and age specific differences in the patient population including late adolescence, adulthood, middle age, and the elderly. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to provide for assessment and therapeutic management of patient/family needs.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

A Bispecific/CAR-T Registered Nurse (RN) is a specialized oncology professional responsible for managing patients receiving advanced immunotherapy, specifically Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy and Bispecific T-cell Engager (BiTE) therapies. They focus on patient education, close monitoring for complex toxicities like Cytokine Release Syndrome (CRS) and Immune Effector Cell-Associated Neurotoxicity Syndrome (ICANS), and coordination of care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

• Administration & Monitoring: Remote and/or in person monitoring for patients receiving ramp up Bispecific therapy and/or CAR-T.  Administer intravenous supportive care medication in an outpatient setting as needed. 
• Toxicity Management: Closely monitor for CRS and ICANS, using protocols to identify, grade, and manage these potentially life-threatening side effects remotely or in outpatient setting. 
• Patient Education & Caregiver Support: Educate patients on treatment plans, side effects, and after-care instructions.
• Care Coordination: Act as a liaison between the patient, physicians, and the multidisciplinary team.
• Long-term Surveillance: Manage follow-up visits, coordination , remote monitoring, and lab monitoring. 
• Documentation & Safety: Ensure accurate, timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). 
• Administrative Tasks: Perform remote administrative tasks between patient monitoring visits or low patient census. Tasks include but are not limited to:
• Chart prep for clinic location infusion room preparedness.  
• Chart Audits 
• Prescription renewal queue monitoring and completion 

 MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Training –  

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program; BSN is often preferred.

• Licensure/Certification: Current state RN license and Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

• Skills: Strong critical thinking and the ability to manage complex, high-risk patient reactions.

EXPERIENCE –

• Experience: 2–5 years of nursing experience, with strong preference for oncology or bone marrow transplant (BMT) experience.
