Human Resources Support Services (HRSS) provides departmental human resource services to numerous campus departments. For more information on HRSS, please visit: hrss.financials.utexas.edu/. In the spirit of continuous improvement and collaboration, HRSS strives to provide consistent, accurate, and timely services in support of our customers and their human resources needs.

Purpose

HRSS is looking for a student worker to assist with records management and retention and provide exceptional customer service to our walk-in population.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with filing department submissions such as probationary reviews, flexible work arrangements, appraisals.
  • Enter information from submissions into Workday in a timely manner.
  • Maintain cases in ServiceNow.
  • Assist Senior HR Quality Assurance Coordinator with records management and retention, filing/destruction.
  • Assist with HR Coordinators with walk-in customers.
  • Other duties or projects, as assigned.

Required Qualifications

UT Austin Student or Work Study

Preferred Qualifications

One semester in office setting. Ability to speak other languages such as Spanish, French, Portuguese, Kinyarwanda, Swahili to assist with walk in customer population.  

Salary Range


$15.00 + based on experience
 

Work Shift

Office hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Flexible with hours and willing to work with student schedule
