Responsibilities:
- Execute purchase orders by sourcing approved goods and services from designated vendors, ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers to maintain efficient and reliable supply chain operations.
- Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure accuracy, on-time delivery, and resolution of any discrepancies.
- Reconcile invoices and resolve billing issues in coordination with the Accounts Payable team.
- Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee inventory levels and proactively coordinate with operations to ensure timely stock replenishment.
- Contribute to the development and execution of procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support long-term partnerships and performance.
- Standardize, improve, and implement procurement procedures to drive consistency and operational excellence.
- Assist in supplier sourcing and evaluation based on cost, quality, reliability, and delivery performance.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all procurement and inventory management systems.
- Maintain up-to-date purchase order records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
- Organize and facilitate cross-functional review meetings to align purchasing activities with broader business goals.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Marketing, Warehouse, Customer Service).
- Strong understanding of purchase order processes and vendor sourcing.
- Knowledge of inventory management and replenishment strategies.
- Ability to identify and implement supply chain improvement opportunities.
- Proficient in ERP systems and data integrity management (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with suppliers and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
