Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence

  • Champion global deployment of Lean tools: Hoshin Kanri, KPIs, Lean audits, visual management, and core methodologies (5S, Standard Work, problem solving).

  • Integrate AI and digitization into Lean systems for enhanced automation and decision-making.

  • Lead cross-functional improvement projects and site-level initiatives globally.

Strategic Planning & Leadership

  • Align Lean budgets with corporate strategy; manage multiple concurrent projects.

  • Facilitate executive meetings and global Lean Manager conferences.

  • Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, and BU leaders on strategic initiatives.

  • Represent Freudenberg externally to bring in best practices.

KPI Governance

  • Develop and maintain enterprise KPI frameworks and reporting standards.

  • Integrate systems (SAP, Enableon, IQMS) for automated data reporting.

  • Ensure dashboard consistency and alignment with business priorities.

Lean & Six Sigma Training

  • Design and deploy global Lean/Six Sigma training programs (Green/Black Belt).

  • Standardize content and delivery; integrate into Workday and development plans.

  • Use digital tools (VR, AI) to enhance training effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Operations, or related field; MBA preferred.

  • Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt required.

  • ISO 13485 / FDA QSR, ASQ CQE or CMQ/OE certifications beneficial.

  • 10+ years in Lean/OpEx leadership; 7+ years in global roles.

  • Proven success in deploying Lean systems and leading transformation initiatives.

  • Experience mentoring high-performing Lean teams across geographies.

  • Technical Mastery: Deep Lean/Six Sigma expertise; regulatory integration.

  • Leadership: Executive presence; strong change management and coaching.

  • Business Acumen: P&L impact, cost reduction, quality, and compliance.

  • Communication: Strong global facilitation and presentation skills.

  • Mobility: Willingness to travel internationally (up to 50%).
