Responsibilities:

• Become knowledgeable about the wood composites manufacturing process.
• Become knowledgeable about the Chem-Trend wood composites product line.
• Understand wood composites test methods and how they correlate to customer production.
• Assist the research chemists in the development of new products. Specific activities will include preparing samples, application testing, and quality checks.
• Learn to properly handle hazardous raw materials.
• Actively participate in weekly team meetings and provide project updates.
• Learn how to present data and results in a meaningful manner.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of college coursework completed in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Understanding of or previous experience in a laboratory.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in lab setting.
• Understanding usage of Personal Protective Equipment.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• Desire to learn Chemistry concepts.
• Proficient in Technical writing and detail oriented.
