Job Summary

The Structured Investments Origination Associate role supports the design, pricing, and distribution of structured investments (also known as market-linked notes and market-linked CDs) for retail, high‑net‑worth and institutional clients. The role partners closely with the Sales, Trading, and Structuring teams of our issuer partners (external investment banks) to deliver customized investment products aligned with client objectives, market conditions, and regulatory requirements. Primary functions include identifying and conducting quantitative and qualitative due diligence, investment analysis, and product development on structured investments. This is a front‑office role combining financial analysis, product development, external collaboration and client support in a fast‑paced market driven environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the origination of structured investment solutions across broad based calendar and custom offerings
  • Assist in designing and analyzing payoff structures tailored to client investment objectives and risk profiles
  • Partner with Structuring and Trading teams to evaluate product feasibility, pricing, and hedging considerations
  • Educating financial advisors and their clients as well as other departments within Global Wealth Solutions about structured investments
  • Work with RJ SI Consultant team to respond to client requests, RFQs, and bespoke structuring initiatives
  • Job scope includes identifying and performing quantitative and qualitative investment analysis (e.g., financial modeling, risk analysis, validating investment merits, etc.) on structured investments, and preparing detailed product memos
  • Coordinate transaction execution with Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Middle Office teams
  • Support product approvals, issuance documentation, and lifecycle management activities
  • Monitor market trends, volatility, and structured product issuance to identify product opportunities
  • Ensure all transactions adhere to internal risk, control, and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with various operational duties relating to product development and support
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Understanding of derivatives, payoff structures, and capital markets
  • Solid financial and quantitative analysis skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate complex investment concepts clearly and concisely
  • Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities. The ability to multi-task is critical
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Commercial intuition and client‑focused approach
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, front‑office environment
  • Cultivates and maintains effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrates uncompromising adherence to ethical principles

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years of financial services experience.
  • Existing (or an ability to quickly acquire) knowledge required to appropriately support the Structured Investments trading and operations platform.

Licenses/Certifications

  • FINRA Series 7 license
