Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Industrial Engineer, Supply Chain is responsible for warehouse process improvement, transportation improvement, leading continuous improvement exercises, utilizing latest technologies, validating labor standards, designing equipment layouts, and ensuring industry safety.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports implementation of process improvements and technological upgrades across warehouses.
- Leads continuous improvement efforts across supply chain functions.
- Develops and implements warehouse process improvements, including warehouse management system configuration and reports.
- Develops and implements transportation process improvements and network analysis.
- Reviews and validates industry safety and design standards and guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Required Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Other Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field preferred.
- Minimum Years of Experience: 0 - 2 years of experience
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge
- Demonstrated knowledge of engineered labor standards
- Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques (Tableau, PowerBi, Domo)
- Knowledge of warehousing and logistics
- Skills & Abilities
- Technology proficiency Microsoft Office, Google and AutoCAD.
- Analytical skills and ability to articulate complex data and concepts
- Ability to articulate industrial engineering concepts, methods of process improvement and process development.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with diverse groups
