Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

This position is open to partial remote work, but would need to be located in or near Marshfield, WI

The IT Facilities Technician will be responsible for supporting the Data Center and remote site operations with emphasis on the critical infrastructure. This individual will coordinate maintenance for the remote facilities, including a Tier III Data Center.  The IT Facilities Technician will work closely with Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) Building Services and vendors to ensure continues uptime.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: Associate degree in Information Technology, Electro/Mechanical or related field.

Preferred/Optional: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electro/Mechanical or related field.

EXPERIENCE 

Minimum Required: Demonstrated knowledge of Tier 3 Uptime Certification requirements. Knowledge of data center building maintenance and on-premises equipment. Experience working with MS apps, Office Suite, and Outlook. Experience working with IT Technology- servers and networking.
