Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Support Functions Float performs a variety of duties based on current need within the Support Functions department. The Float ensures the timely pick-up, delivery, and distribution of correspondence, packages, and lab containers within select centers and outlying areas and directs and assists patients and visitors in a manner consistent with Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Preferred/Optional: None

EXPERIENCE 

Minimum Required: Previous customer service experience. 

Preferred/Optional: Knowledge of US Mail processing regulations.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES 

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Minimum Required: CPR certification within six months of hire. A valid Wisconsin driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Preferred/Optional: CPR certification at time of hire.
