JOB SUMMARY
The Design and Construction Manager provides the necessary supervision, direction, coordination and management control for design and construction projects in a manner that is consistent with and meets the demands of the strategic needs Marshfield Clinic Health System.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture or ten years of directly related work experience.
Preferred/Optional: Advanced degree in architecture engineering or business administration.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: Five years’ experience in healthcare design and construction, preferably as an owner’s representative for a health system or ten years’ experience with no degree.
Preferred/Optional: Ten years’ experience in healthcare design and construction.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Minimum Required: Valid Wisconsin driver's license with an acceptable DMV record.
Preferred/Optional: Recognition by an industry organization (AIA, ASHE, AGC, EDAC, CMAA or similar) for contributions to the Healthcare Facilities field. Licensed Architect, Engineer or General Contractor.
