Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance Senior Electrical/Mechanical is responsible for preventive maintenance, repair, and service of various types of commercial and Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) owned residential electrical equipment needs. This individual maintains buildings, grounds, and equipment to present a safe environment in accordance with federal, state, local codes, manufacturer specifications, and MCHS standards.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: Technical school degree or equivalent.  

Preferred/Optional: None

EXPERIENCE 

Minimum Required: Four years’ experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance. Demonstrated knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES 

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position.  Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Minimum Required: Journeyman license.
