JOB PURPOSE:

Students in this position will perform routing maintenance tasks for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineers of Facilities Services department in an efficient and productive manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs general maintenance tasks including but not limited to the following: Filter changing, maintenance of equipment in residence halls & academic buildings, assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the campus, Preventative Maintenance, assist engineers with various tasks, etc.

  • Safely operates all hand and power tools necessary to complete assigned tasks.

  • Moves, loads, unloads and delivers heavy and bulky materials, supplies and equipment by hand or dolly

  • Performs tasks as directed to prepare residence halls and academic buildings for occupancy

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SCHEDULE:

  • Monday - Friday , 6am-2pm

RATE OF PAY:

  • $16.30 per hour

WORK STUDY REQUIREMENT:
