Levi Strauss & Co. is evolving its North America distribution network to support a faster, more flexible, and more cost‑effective supply chain—and you will sit at the center of that transformation as Senior Manager, Distribution Finance.
In this role, you will provide financial leadership across a complex, multi‑node distribution footprint spanning company‑owned and third‑party operations in the US and Canada. You will partner with Distribution, Commercial, and Global Finance leaders to shape how they make volume, labor, cost, and capacity decisions as the network continues to evolve. You will report to the VP, Finance (US & Canada).
You are a finance leader who enjoys being close to operations, excels in evolving environments, and wants to influence how a modern distribution network structures, scales, and optimizes itself.
Oversee end‑to‑end finance for US & Canada distribution operations, including four company‑owned distribution centers and one 3PL.
Be the primary finance partner to regional distribution leadership, with frequent interaction with US, Canada, and Global Operations leadership.
Lead month‑end close, forecasting, annual planning, and longer‑range strategic planning for distribution.
Full accountability for distribution center expenses, including:
Direct and indirect labor
Facilities, depreciation, and occupancy
Equipment, supplies, outbound freight, and 3PL services
Build and manage volume‑driven financial models tied to shipment volume, labor planning, productivity, and inventory levels.
Identify cost efficiency and productivity opportunities and partner with operations to improve results.
Develop and monitor distribution KPIs, including:
Cost per unit / carton
Labor productivity
Pick/pack/ship cycle times
Service levels and on‑time delivery
Analyze and explain variances, trends, risks, and opportunities
Evaluate distribution investments, enhancements, expansions, and contract renewals.
Lead financial analysis and scenario modeling (ROIC, IRR, NPV) to support capacity and network decisions.
Partner with Commercial and Wholesale teams to translate volume changes into labor, cost, and capacity implications.
Provide oversight on physical inventory management, shrink, cycle counts, and adjustments.
Ensure accuracy in revenue cut‑off, 3PL billing and reconciliations, and shortage claims.
Partner with Controllers, Audit, and external auditors.
Support union and hourly labor controls and cost governance across distribution centers.
About You
8+ years of progressive finance experience across FP&A, operations finance, cost accounting, or similar roles.
Background supporting distribution, supply chain, manufacturing, or labor‑intensive operations.
Experience with volume‑based cost models, labor dynamics, and fixed vs. variable expense structures.
Comfortable operating in the details while influencing senior leaders and cross‑functional partners.
Experience navigating change initiatives, transitions, or evolving operating models.
Curious, improvement‑minded finance leader who blends financial modeling with effective business partnership.
This is a hybrid work schedule based in our Henderson, NV distribution center. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.
The expected starting salary range for this role is $122,800 - $180,100 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
