Position Summary:

Responsible for generating revenue by soliciting preferred players (both in and out of the current database) as defined by management. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promotes superior guest service.

• Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.

• Build relationships through specialized, personalized, and preferential service. 

• Use available technology to efficiently manage player accounts including, but not limited to, gaming activity, comp availability, and profitably.

• Utilize sales skills to offer and issue complimentaries per established departmental policies and marketing guidelines. 

• Cultivate leads, build loyalty, and promote return visits to the property. 

• Meet and greet with preferred guests when they are on property. 

• Support all ilani marketing efforts. 

• Expected to meet and/or exceed personal revenue targets.

• Responsible for the expansion and growth of national casino business by providing the highest level of outstanding customer service.

• Keep abreast of competitors’ gaming customer programs and monitor their effectiveness.

• Speak with players in person or on the telephone to market promotions and events.

• Attend player events, interact with invited players, and provide guest service in a professional and courteous manner.

• Meet goals and objectives for daily phone calls and letters mailed to current, inactive, and prospective high-end players.

• Assists in planning and executing both on and off-site VIP events, parties, and meals. May also assist VIP Hosts and with various promotions or giveaways.  

• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.

• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Performs other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a casino host in a complex casino environment, or four years’ experience in a high-volume hospitality environment, involving extensive contact with customers. 

• Associate degree with two years’ hospitality experience; education may be substituted with two years previous casino host or additional high customer contact hospitality experience.

• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.

• Strong computer skills in all Microsoft programs, and complimentary computer skills to be applied to proprietary Casino Marketing Systems.

• Strong verbal and written skills.

• Proven ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service.

• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.

• Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail.

• Must be able to work various shifts, flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.

• Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.

• Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Sales and Marketing experience.

Shift Schedule Range From: 12:00 Noon - 10:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. -12:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. -1:00 a.m.

Weekends & Holidays Required. Busiest time is Christmas & New Year's Eve & Day
