This role serves as a crucial right-hand partner, providing strategic insight, facilitating communication, and offering clinical expertise to support the Chief Medical & Scientific Officer (CMSO) for Electrophysiology and support priorities of CMSO. This individual contributor role will require a strong clinical background (e.g., former Medical Assistant, Physician Assistant or Clinical Application Specialist) with a deep understanding of daily healthcare operations, lab procedures, and the physician's perspective. They will be highly organized, possess exceptional communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.  

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnership & Advising

  • Collaborate closely with CMSO to develop and execute strategic plans, priorities, and initiatives that align with the organization's mission and goals
  • Provide strategic counsel on clinical matters, offering insights based on interactions with practitioners engaged
  • Lead or support key cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving successful outcomes

Clinical Expertise & Operational Insight:

  • Leverage clinical experience to offer practical perspectives on daily operations, patient care pathways, and lab processes
  • Facilitate understanding of the physician's perspective and needs within various initiatives
  • Contribute to identifying and addressing operational challenges and opportunities for improvement

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as a central communication hub, facilitating seamless information flow between the CMSO and internal/external stakeholders
  • Assist in crafting clear, concise, and impactful communications for various audiences, including presentations, reports, and internal updates
  • Represent the CMSO in discussions and interactions with key internal and external constituents, fostering strong relationships and promoting alignment
  • Provide guidance on effectively answering questions and responding to inquiries from a clinical and strategic standpoint

Organizational Support & Efficiency:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of the executive office, potentially including calendar management, travel coordination, and meeting preparation, working closely with the Administrative Executive
  • Anticipate and proactively address administrative and logistical needs
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining efficient processes and procedures
  • Assist in preliminary assessments of field visits and physician engagement requests providing an initial assessment of field visits

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of healthcare experience with a focus on clinical practice and operations
  • Knowledge or prior experience in Electrophysiology field is highly preferred
  • Experience as a Medical Assistant, Physician Assistant, or Clinical Application Specialist role, including understanding of medical practices and lab procedures
  • Leadership or strategic support experience in healthcare
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly organized with strong project and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with adaptability
  • High level of integrity and discretion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Strong and proven people management skills
  • Up to 25% domestic travel required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$102,000 - $177,000

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
