Job Summary
The Senior Assortment Planner is a strategic contributor responsible for driving sales growth and inventory productivity through the development and management of optimized product assortments across assigned categories. This role leverages advanced analytics, deep understanding of customer and market trends, and strong cross‑functional collaboration to deliver assortments that maximize profitability, improve sell‑through, and support business objectives. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Senior Assortment Planner partners closely with Merchandising, Inventory, Supply Chain, and Channel teams to translate insights into actionable assortment strategies that balance customer demand, space constraints, and inventory efficiency.

Location & Work Availability
This position is Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote), based at our corporate headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Qualifications
Advanced SQL proficiency for data extraction, analysis, and reporting across assortment planning systems.
Experience with assortment optimization tools and methodologies, preferably within the retail sector.
Strong project management capabilities, with a proven ability to manage multiple initiatives with competing deadlines
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently while effectively engaging with project managers and cross-functional stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Comfortable navigating complex datasets and systems, with a focus on driving actionable insights and operational efficiency.
Certifications, Experience, and Education
Certifications: None
Experience: 3-5 years related experience in Inventory Management, Assortment Planning, or Supply Chain
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Mathematics or related field; OR equivalent combination of experience and education.
